I guess we're going to be saying Top is In for a while now. Since the ATH has fallen we're hitting new highs almost everyday. Would that mean Groundhog Day top is in?

There are not highs but false Tops, the Top was in back in 2017 and it will forever be in!

The top comes in every day, literally. And then the next. Literally. And it's always official. Literally. So in theory, this thread will never end. Every market has a top during the day - the question is remains: was THIS what Thorstache was telegraphing? or what it something much ~~deeper~~ less coherent?

I guess as long as it keeps coming, nobody will now. Like life, you only find out what it's all about after it's over....... supposedly.

Back in '85 or '86 my father invested in silver because there was just no way the S&P could ever top 500 and had to crash... He bought on margin and had to scrape together the money to buy them and take physical possession of two bars when the price declined. Fortunately he did eventually sell them for a small gain in '87 after driving from Alaska to California with them under the seat of our truck... The 80's were a different time. If only Thorstach would have told us that the top would be in for many many more years before the final Top became manifest.
