I've been playing Star Wars Outlaws when I find the time, and while I love the Star Wars universe, the atmosphere, etc. I can't help but be disappointed with some of the simplicity in gameplay...like being able to knock out 4 of 5 stormtroopers and the 5th one is like "oh well, I can't find anybody after 30 seconds so I guess it's fine".

I got the Lego Star Wars complete saga for free on Epic Games a while ago and have been playing through that. I have enjoyed it a lot, especially since I played the original one.

I just got a 2nd controller so that I can get 100% on Lego Lord of the Rings. I'm at 98.5%, and have been for years. I think the remaining items require 2 players. I also have a 2nd player who is way better at video games than I am, so whoo!

Lego Lord of the Rings is at 100% completion. Now playing Lego Hobbit. Will take me a while to get through it. It is yet to be determined if I feel the need to get it to 100% completion however.

Is there something different about those two that requires a 2nd player to get 100%? I've played a number of the Lego games and have always been able to 100% solo.

Another fun lego game is the Lego Movie game. If you can get them for the cheap the lego batman games are very fun

I've been hooked on The Bazaar lately - it's an auto-battler that just went from closed beta to open beta pretty recently. It's bad when I get hooked on games though, it can become a hazardous time-sink for me.

Switch 2 preorders start tonight. No launch games for me, but I have convinced myself that the Zelda upgrades and the unknowns around tariffs are reason enough to go for it. Hopefully I can get a few hundred for my OLED.

"Dustland Delivery", a Zombiecalypse trucker (+management) game.

The UI is bad, some mechanics are cluncky, but it's still fun for just 8 bucks regular price. I am at 35 hours now, maybe put in 10 more to finish the second map.

With some polish, a heap of QoL and a bit extra stuff it could be a game worth 30€. Too bad.

I don't use my original Switch system much. I guess the only reason I would consider getting a Switch 2 is for the new Mario Kart World and/or Hollow Knight: Silksong since it appears to be releasing on Switch 2 only and not the original Switch.

The switch 2 looks cool, but I don't think cool enough to justify fighting for a preorder and all that. I will probably buy it in a couple years on black friday sale.

I haven't even played most of my switch 1 games yet, so will probably also wait to order the switch 2 for a couple of years or so.

There is a crazy amount of switch games that I never played. It will be nice to buy some on discount as the switch 2 comes out.

I ended up snagging one pre-order each from Walmart and Best Buy, thinking one might get cancelled in the hours or days after they went live. If not, I'll either cancel Walmart or try to sell it.

I'm ready to upgrade since I don't game anywhere else. I played all the "AAA" first-party stuff on 360 and PS4 and came to the conclusion that it's just not for me.

The only game that I am really wanting is the new Mario Kart. 8 Deluxe on the switch is my most played game by a country mile on that system.
