(As a presenter, you will be invited to field questions in the QF round. If you have to leave early, it means your adoring fans will have unanswered queries.)

Are only presenters doing the lightning round? Also are you splitting it in groups, not doing it whole-group? Do you have sticky/post-it notes packed for CMC for lightning round purposes?  :)

I'm super excited about the lightning round, I was thinking of starting a thread on it.
I am a former teacher who accumulated a bunch of real estate, retired at 29, spent some time traveling the world full time and am now settled with three kids.

Yes I have post-it pads.

How can you start a question thread before the presentations have even happened? The whole idea for this round is that the questions that were unanswered have a chance after the clock has run out on the session.

Hey Everyone, poor Deb can read the forums, but she can't post.

I think now would be a good time for everyone to say Hi to her.

Hi Deborah. Hope you're having a fine evening.

The thread would be explaining the lightning round and getting people hyped about it.

The post-its would be for jotting questions and putting them on the big board post-presentation, but pre-lightning round, for sorting into groups and having presenters see some ahead of time (and allow people to get them down as they think of them, before they forget).

You are one sneaky sneaker.

I mentioned around the campfire that another blogger had been loitering at the camp, and this lead to much speculation about who the sneaky blogger could be. Of course, now that you've posted, the speculation may grow... intense. Looking forward to sharing a beer and some stories around the fire next year. Oh - and if you play Volley-Hockey-ball, look out for Ali - she's a little intense.

Thanks for coming to the camp, and I'm glad you had a good time!

I've posted in our ultra-secret Camp thread but want to publicly declare what an amazing job Prospector did in organizing the first-ever CMC. So much passion, energy, and thought went into every detail both large and small. It was a fantastic Camp and Prospector did all the work in setting the stage for us to make connections, learn new things, and get inspired.

I had a wonderful time at camp. It was my first real meetup. It turns out my family and friends are wrong, and you Internet strangers are a fine bunch.

The food was great! Good job in picking that locale, Prospector.

Many thanks to our dear leader Prospector for keeping on top of things both before and during camp.

And also to Elaine for the money laundering.

Ellefiji did a great job with the carpools. Everything went perfectly on that front. I'd also like to thank those that provided me with a ride, you know who you are.

Now if I can just get that decompression started...

If we get win the lottery for tickets, Babyspy 2 will very likely come (that'd be too much time apart for one that young, in our opinion), but babies are much easier to rock and still participate fully than a toddler who needs much more attention.  :)

Annabelle was MUCH easier at CM Seattle 3 & 4 (not born yet for 1 & 2) than she was at CM*TO 1.

I am pleased to announce our second confirmed speaker for CM*TO2018...

Canuck ExPat will be returning to run another session on FIRE... or on living on your own terms... or on which beer he prefers to sip while contemplating why the rest of the world is working while he is playing.

Related: 60 entries in the lottery so far...

CM*TO 2018 lottery closes to entries tonight precisely at: Whatever O'clock I get around to it.

Currently have 85 entries in the lottery representing just over 100 people (some couples/families). There will be about 75 bunks available.

I suggest entering quickly rather than hoping for a wait-list spot. AFAIK, this is the only CM offering bell tower Karaoke. And definitely the only one with VolleyHockeyBall.

I wore my CMC 2017 t-shirt.  It reminded me of how much fun that weekend was!  It also reminded me that I have to wait another eight months for CM*TO.

I suggest a house party at Prospector's, in the meantime.  We can hula hoop and play Civ.

Mine falls off my head. Like it pops off. Almost like it's too small, but that makes no sense because half my hats are from the children's section.

Please explain more
