I'm currently a manager at a bookstore. I have a deep passion for jewellery and am an GIA accredited jewellery professional. I'm looking pretty hard at some management opportunities within big chains like Tiffany & Co.
But I'm worried that some of the things I dislike about the bookstore job will just be tenfold at an even bigger, higher value store. In short, I'm afraid of the potential for stress, but I'm thrilled at the idea of being fully in an environment I love. I have experience working for family-owned independent jewellery stores as a sales professional and I LOVE IT.
