You can search for parts actually available that match your car and the part you want at
http://www.car-part.com/ which should give you a sense of what the matching parts are. You might also find it useful for locating a junk yard with the part you want at a price you want. If it's not an exact match to model and year you might want to double check with the junk yard that the part will fit since I don't know how reliable the site is. I'm seeing listings for a corolla hood from 2000-2012, but I don't know if those really all match your 2005. I see lots of listings from 2003-2008, so I'd say that at least should be a pretty safe range.
I doubt other models will match body panels unless it's a rebranded car like the old Toyota Corolla / Geo Prism pair (before your model year), but other parts could very well match, especially from the same manufacturer. I kind of thought there was a Chevy version of the Corolla from around your model year, but I don't remember if they looked exactly the same.
Edit: another option that's a good source for new parts is Rock Auto. Surprisingly they have a hood for only $77
https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/toyota,2005,corolla,1.8l+l4,1433059,body,hood,1396 although it looks like shipping would be $150 to me, so that makes it quite a bit more expensive and it would be primed not painted, which would be good if you plan to paint it (less prep) but bad if you don't want to paint it (looking for a color match or not worrying about color).
