If Infowars owns, or is the user of the account and the ownership of Infowars changes hands, doesn't Infowars remain the owner? It seems like this also opens up issues of piercing a corporate veil, and issues of "personhood" of a company. It seems mostly that this is a case of Elon Musk just being a shit and wanting to take his toys home in a sulk if people don't want to play his game.

Musk's entire *thing* is that rules are essentially arbitrary when applied to him and he can just will things to be as he prefers for his best interest, and that anything that defies that interest is stupid, inefficient, and standing in the way of a better future.

So yeah, the actual legalities don't matter to him. If he doesn't like something, he'll decree it so and expects the people around him to find ways to make it happen.

Sometimes it works...

As far as I can tell, this is a real photo from Las Vegas.  (One killed, 7 injured, which certainly isn't funny.)  Welcome to 2025!
