Title: What to do with an old unused golf club travel case?
Post by: FrugalSaver on November 04, 2019, 03:21:51 PM
Hard shell. One of the latches is broken

Can this be donated?

Or should I just trash it

Doesn't hurt to donate. Unless you repurpose it somehow. Flower pot?

I have heard of organizations dedicated to making golf accessible to low-income kids. Maybe one of those could use your case?

Offer it free on Freecycle/Craigslist or stick it on the curb near your trash.   Someone who could use it may have the means to fix or work around the broken latch.
What you shouldn't do, is give anything broken to a charity.  Don't increase their disposal costs by giving them unsalable goods.
