I work in a call center AKA "nerd farm"   so the   dress code is very casual. Perfect for me since I ride a bicycle - Jeans, t shirt in the summer,  turtleneck in the winter,  and my Domo-Kun hoodie. When an item gets a stain  or gets "eaten" by my gears, it  becomes  weekend/ at home gear.

Church outfit - Long  Denim skirt and top.

How I wished I dressed? More like how I plan to dress when I get  more weight off, more feminine, more  skirts, and  nicer shoes instead of sneakers.

For years, I worked for a very corporate, very uptight consulting firm.  Had to wear shirt and tie at a minimum, but suit was preferred.

That idiotic, uncomfortable (trust me, wearing a suit in San Antonio in the summer is about as moronic as it can get, with temps routinely hitting 100+ degrees) dress code was one of the reasons I retired early.

After 4 years of retirement, I came back to work for far less pay for a small company that pretty much lets me do what I want- work from home, no dress code (which pretty much means Tshirt and shorts every day).  No idiotic dress code, minimal stupid meetings, no commute.  Work does not suck when you can do it on reasonable terms.

FYI, I gave most of my suits, ties, dress shirts/pants to Goodwill. Just kept a couple for weddings and funerals.  Haven't worn a tie in almost a year, and couldn't be happier.

A shirt and pants or scrubs, either way they are both free which I really value.

Away from work I like to wear T-Shirts from Threadless as I like the fact people contribute designs from all over the world.

My favourite one I wear is,

as I picked it up second hand for $2 at the local Op-Shop. Although I do also quite like this next one,

PS - No I don't work for Threadless, although I would be pretty cool.

The guy who started Threadless has quite an inspiration (albeit nervous) talk up on TED at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mB2e4f1YhYw. He discusses the joy of being creative and making things.

At the risk of going completely off topic 'How good is this song by The War on Drugs!", http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsoqmFL1vlU I pretty much had it on repeat all afternoon.

Currently pregnant and work from home. Unfortunately, I only have 1 pair of used maternity jeans, so I tend to wear those all the time and one of DH's North face sweaters since it is freezing here. Pretty much my daily standard, regardless whether it is the weekends or not.

I have lots of basics in my normal attire to mix and match to look cute and I am counting down the days until I can fit back into them. Luckily, since I work from home, my attire is still pretty casual. I keep the suits around in case I have an offsite to travel to.
