Long time lurker, first time poster!

I've learned so much reading MMM, other RE blogs, and this forum and wanted to thank everyone for sharing their stories. What's the etiquette here for asking for advice? Do I need to post a minimum number of times before asking a question? Thanks!

Nope, you can start right out asking a question. Do your best to throw it in the right forum if it's on a specific topic (kids, real estate, investing...), but otherwise Ask A Mustachian is a pretty safe bet for where it goes.
