Yes - The comments section is entertaining. But at least a fairly decent percentage of readers get it.

Always inspiring to see MMM get good press.  Makes me think more people will get their wake up call.

"Lets look at this from another perspective. How many guys want to stay home with their wife and kid 24/7? Being "financially independent" is a great goal but realistically being employed at that age has more benefits then just money "

If you have married someone and then created someone who is less pleasant to spend time with than your officemates, you are a moron.

I read some of the comments, but just got tired of people bashing my "friend" without even having the facts.

But wow, did not see this one!  Clearly this dude married the wrong woman, and should not of had kids!!

Wow.  I guess that guy won't be retiring early.  Divorce is expensive.  What a jackass.

Amazing what people will find wrong with an approach to life they know nothing about. That's why I'll never worry that a majority of people will  turn frugal.

This blindness that people have with respect to retirement naturally has lead me to question most "common wisdom". If people are drawing conclusions based on bad assumptions,  their conclusions will be as bad.
