Title: Travel Hacking Question
Post by: StashthatCash on May 18, 2018, 07:21:30 AM
Hopefully a quick question. Chase has a Marriott Rewards card that is currently offering a 100,000 bonus point after you spend $5K in 3 months. What I can't seem to figure out is are those 100,000 Marriott points or would they be 100,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points?
Thanks if anyone knows the answer!

Those are Marriott points - would be a helluva deal if they were UR points! Still a good value, though there are other cards I would get first - Starwood AmEx comes to mind while it's still around, you can convert your Starwood points to Marriott at a 1:3 ratio. I'm not seeing a bonus on that card at the moment though, so they may already be aiming to phase it out.

112k Marriott points can turn into 50k United points.  Or ~38k of many other airlines points (transferring to SPG first)
