T-Mobile as an ISP?

Anyone using this service to escape their local ISP options? https://www.t-mobile.com/isp

I know it would all be dependent on the connection to your local tower, but our local cable provider is terrible and it would be great to find an alternative solution, would love to hear any real-world feedback.

I’ve considered it but with a different provider. As it stands right now, the data speeds are too slow. Still if you don’t use your internet for streaming or gaming or other data slurping apps, it could work.

I use a Sprint LTE hotspot for Internet, my devices connect to it via WiFi.

No guarantee, but they do say "We expect download speeds of around 50 Mbps." Our cable internet is slower that that and it streams fine. Netflix requires 0.5 - 25 Mbps depending on desired quality.

Another consideration is if you get bumped down to a 3G or a 2G connection if people on "premium" plans get first crack at the higher speeds.
