Ok, so here's mine....
-Increase Net Worth from Slightly negative to $50k+
-Get completely out of debt
-Bike to work 98% of the time
-Put less than 100 mi/month on our car except trips home to see our parents
-Get married!!! :)
Well, as of June 2013, we're up to $40k, so we're well on track. My new goal is $75k by year end.
I have one lingering student loan for $19,051. It's on IBR through Feb 2014 with $0 payments & the loan is subsidized, so 0 interest is accruing. Come January, I'm going to enroll in 6 credits/semester using my tuition benefits at work, so it will be put back into deferment. I have the cash to pay it off if I wanted to though, so it's as good as gone as far as I'm concerned.
Biking to work, not doing as well as planned. When I wrote these, winter had been kind to me. Come January, Chicago winter hit hard & I drove to work every day until April. Since then, I've been doing some combination of walking, biking, and taking the CTA almost every day. I probably drive once a month, max. Biking is good, but I think I like walking to work better most days actually. So fail on the goal, but I'm pretty happy with the progress still. And my legs look HAWT! :)
I haven't been tracking our car mileage as much as planned, but I'd say we're driving a little more than planned. Maybe this month we can start getting on top of that a little better.
Anddd I'm now a married lady on lock down, so that happened! :)
