I live in a neighborhood that has quite a few older couples and divorcees. The houses have pretty small yards and most folks don't want to deal with them.
I'm 34 and my wife and I make decent money. I don't know how I feel about filling up my weekends with doing yard work for people, but I could certainly think about it. This opportunity was just another piece of low hanging fruit in executing my maximize-income/minimize-expenses everywhere strategy. Maybe there will be others??
As for our investments, all cash in excess of our "emergency fund" gets swept into our Vanguard account each month. Even though it won't be noticeable, this money will probably end up there. Right now I'm working on our 2014 Roth contributions.
