Has anyone looked into private short term disability for childbirth and maternity leave. For our first child, my wife was able to be covered by her employer. Now she is less than 30 hours per week so she would have to get private coverage. Is it worth if you are pretty sure you are going to miss 12 weeks due to childbirth?
