I just want to share my LOVE for Aldi's! I shop there first to get as much stuff as possible, then go to Meijer for the rest of it.
It has definitely made major improvements over the past few years. They have a TON of organic and natural foods that are far cheaper than competitor stores. I do buy the Never Any chicken and have never had an issue. Can't say much about the beef because I buy a quarter cow.
Things I always buy there: organic tortilla chips, organic salsa, almond milk, organic ketchup, almond and peanut butter, cheeses, some fruit/veg's -- always have the best avocados, whole wheat pasta, marinara (1 kind that doesn't have added sugar), Never Any chicken, Never Any chicken sausage, canned tomatoes, organic spices, Kerrygold butter, dark choc. covered espresso beans, dried beans, oats when I'm out of Costco ones, riced cauliflower, the list really just goes on!
Side note- I stopped by Aldi on Wednesday after work to check out the Advent calendars. They said the wine one sold out in minutes and they had a line of 30 people out the door. The cheese one sold out by the afternoon. Bummed!!
