I found a counted cross stitch that I started in 2011 in the back of a cupboard. Started working on that again. At my current rate, I should be done in 30 years or so.

Haha I have one of those too. I thought about it at the start of the shutdown but haven't managed to pull the cross stitch out and work on it yet. Doesn't bode well for finishing it anytime soon lol.

Some minor house renovation stuff. We already have the supplies. Yard looks good. Our cars are clean now. Chores are getting caught up. We're enjoying the screened in porch.

Our kids are teens and have been skateboarding, bicycling, slack-lining, computer games, movies, music, playing with the animals and helping us.

One nugget of fun was shared by my employer. I'm WFH. They want me to go to work twice a week and do a couple of simple, quick tasks - check the place over, look for leaks or other maintenance issues, collect the mail, etc. Since I can do the trip via my bicycle - my employer is basically paying me to ride my bike...

My 10 yo qualified for states in his bowling division right before things came to end.  Thanks to a very long driveway that is usually a pain to maintain and a Kubb set he as been able to continue practicing....its great I havent fixed the tire impressions that have developed over time as they now work as perfect ball returns...

So curious.  What kind of scores qualify for state in the 10yo division?

If you were a child when LeVar Burton had his "Reading Rainbow" show --
That brings back some memories.  Used to watch it in my elementary school classroom.

Most of my bike destinations have closed, and I don’t have a commute anymore. To compensate I’ve started exploring routes and neighborhoods I wouldn’t usually take because my normal business doesn’t take me in that direction or the traffic would typically be too onerous to bother. And with more than a dozen parks within seven miles from home, I’ve been to get to ten thus far (although I’m kicking back in the grass instead of the benches and tables).

On the home front, the yard has never looked so good, and I’ve finished two small projects along the way. All of this and still WFH. I prefer the hustle and bustle of the office, but this has been a fun and interesting diversion. Unfortunately, it’s come at a high cost for many.

I'm cooking, gardening, organizing my bf's house, having zoom meetups, overeating, dancing in the living room, having sex, and making my food talk in loud, confusing accents.

Going down YouTube rabbit holes.  Doing the free trails of different channels/streaming services if you’ll cancel before having to pay. Exercising.  TrAshing old paper filings.  Taking pics of cute pets.  Adult coloring.  Listening to podcasts.

Reading, crocheting, inventing games to keep the kids entertained. Right now they're playing "hide the lemon" and "can you hide the lemon better than your sister."
