Partial Fire in a Camper. 2021 and on to milestones

Partial Fire with a Camper. in 2021

Three months of camp rat life. Fill ups at primary home or in RV parks.  Pocket primary home rental cash (if any) and 2nd home rent cash + dividends.

Work part time during the cold months, in our home primary home.   Move the belongings back out of our garage.  :)

3/4 fire 2025-27 (when more benefits kick in)

9 months of life in our Primary home (getting income from a rental + investments).  3 months of working

Rent our home out as much as possible, and travel around.

Full fire may not be achievable with the insurance cost.  My spouse wan'ts to maintain their medical certification and license to practice. As long as we can pay the premiums.  Today, it looks achievable, if we stop burning cash.

This sounds like a great plan!  Try booking extended vacations with both a van and an RV before you commit. Both have pros and cons and its possible you will prefer the mobility and efficiency of the van more. For what it's worth, you don't need to live in your vehicle to be nomad and many of us hop from one short term rental to the other, which has low upfront costs and provides excellent comfort. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.
