I did a Living Social deal for $30 of Google Express credit + a 6 month membership for $10.   (That deal has expired unfortunately but I'm sure it'll come around again if you're interested, and I believe you can get a $15 credit plus 3 months of membership if you use someone's referral code to sign up.)

If you're unfamiliar, stores and selections vary by area but my options include decent value options like Costco and Smart & Final, and pricier stores like Target, Whole Foods, Staples, and Walgreens.   The minimum for free delivery for most stores is $15.  Not everything a store sells is available on Google Express but the selection is pretty good, except for the big issue of it not included fresh items.

My question is for frequent Google Express users. What do you buy?  Am interested in what other people use it for?  What awesome values have you found?

I can see it being useful where a store is in my city but not in my neighborhood and has a staple that is priced higher that the places I usually shop, since the $15 min for free delivery is low.

I had coupons for a credit  + free delivery for trying them. At the time, the Amazon Fire stick was on sale for something like $5.  Could that be right?  I wish I got that and I think about it all the time!

Instead I got a single ream of printer paper and a box of devil dogs (They're my favorite and few stores around here sell them).   Total cost :  $0.00

Never used them again after the initial time. Never saw the benefit. Plus around here, uber will deliver anything in less time and also instacart is available too.

I used it when there was a free trial. The convenience was nice, and using the frequent deals they offered ($10 off, etc.) saved me money on some household items, but I didn't notice any particular bargains. Items were the same as store price, generally.
