Mustachian Dreams
« on: July 07, 2015, 03:35:26 PM »
So my wife and I recently dumped our piece of crap car that was requiring more maintenance than a monthly car payment and purchased a 2015 Honda Fit. We were really excited to not have any maintenance issues anymore and were also excited to have the large boost in mpg (our previous vehicle was probably around 25 mpg). So far we've been averaging around 38-39 mpg in our new Fit, and I've enjoyed trying to see how high I can push that number. So with that background in mind, a few mornings ago I woke up from dreaming, and all I could remember from my dream was that I had managed to get our car up to around 43-44 mpg. In the dream I was super excited about it. I laughed at myself for having such a silly dream and told my wife about it. She laughed and said that I should start a topic on here where we can share the random Mustachian related dreams that we've had.

So here it is. Let's hear what Mustachian dreams you've all had.

Congratulations on your new car.

I had a dream, all I can remember was the last 5 seconds prior to waking up (startled).
I was shaking hands with a man at a bank who told me "congratulations on your 100,000 dollar business loan", and as Im shaking his hand my mind started racing. First I was having remorse - "wait, no! I dont need a loan I have all this savings!", then acceptance - "time to learn how to weld", then seriously questioning reality and wondering how I got there.  I woke up confused and bewildered, wondering how to weld, and then realized everything is OK because Im not really in debt.

Id call that a nightmare.
