Today's SMBC
the best part was the popup:

Too true. I've got 3 more years, and I can barely wait.

I am a former teacher who accumulated a bunch of real estate, retired at 29, spent some time traveling the world full time and am now settled with three kids.

All of the threads about Christmas right now. (What do I ask for???). Also, essentially identical to the list I gave my family (although I did not ask for help with bills).

A new Sarah's Scribbles fits pretty well (the struggle of internet shopping)

This is hilarious, mostly because I use adblock (and adblock can even block nofitications THAT you are using an adblocker!).
I also find that adblocking makes for a more pleasant and productive workday because I'm not constantly distracted by the flashy adds website appearently need to survive... (and yes, I am a paid subscriber for the sites I enjoy daily in stead of accepting adds and tracking my activity as a source of their income).

A comic strip that deals solely with retail store employees. Half of them could qualify for this thread.

I asked for (and received) whiskey and fudge from my parents. I guess I've only got one foot in the adult pool.

NO!!! :-)  That would destroy the comic formula.  But when S. Adams does decide to retire maybe it would be nice to have Dilbert go start a start up and then sell to Google just to give him a 'happily ever after'.

That's a good one.  After years of only reading Garfield minus Garfield though, I have a really hard time reading it without Garfield though.

From the excellent Calvin and Muad'dib tumblr, a Calving&Hobbes/Dune mashup masterpiece.  Quotes from Frank Herbert, art from Bill Watterson.

I'd never seen Zen Pencils before, but I love it! And I just realised I just missed this exhibition. I don't live near Coffs Harbour, but I was down there with hubby's work for a week while this was on. :(
