This is a long one so I'm only going to post the link and not the comic.

This motivational poster* is not actually a comic, but a serious poster from about 90 years ago.  Still, this thread was the most relevant one I could think of, as it's essentially a Mustachian drawing.

Here's a super--duper-Mustachian comic book I just bought at a comic convention ... It's an entire book of how-to be frugal, called Poorcraft: The Art of Living Well on Less:

http://www.ironcircus.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=67

It's $10 but there's also a PDF version for $5. It was worth the $10, though.

And here's a preview of the type of content inside:
http://ironcircus.com/Poorcraft_promo.pdf

It's primarily aimed at kids graduating from high school or college, but there were some frugality tips and ideas in there that I didn't even know before. Going to use it to help my comics-loving husband get more on board with frugality.

It's all about doing things yourself (from cooking to home repairs), riding your bike instead of financing a car, and mucgm much more. (No content on investing or early retirement, however).

I like it, it would be a good gift for graduating kids, for sure.

No dramas, it seems like the obvious things in life are often pretty hard to pick. Leunig is much enjoyed in Australia as he holds the blowtorch to the insanity of modern day living.

I hadn't seen the Christmas ones before, those are awesome! Mine this year fit the 30-somethings without kids perfectly, it's kinda sad.

The more in debt you are, the more Mustachian this comic is. The closer to FI you are, the more Anti-Mustachian this comic is.

I was watching a DS9 episode the other day where Quark was wailing about his indebtedness.  I thought it was amusing, so I created a meme based on what he said.

I just found this thread.  It's absolutely amazing. I'm going to be reading these comics for the next two weeks straight.  Thanks to everyone who has posted something here.

ride bikes!

[... the comic with the dinosaurs talking about the real life game of driving... ]

http://www.qwantz.com/index.php?comic=2587

BTW, this particular strip reminds me of a real video game called "Desert Bus."  You drive a bus in real time from Tuscon to Las Vegas.  It takes 8 hours and the highway is a completely straight shot of road, but your bus lists a little to the left so you have to pay just a little bit of attention so you don't crash, killing all passengers.  It is the most boring game on the planet, and yet, it resembles real life highway driving pretty much perfectly.  100% pure suck.

Your forgot my favorite part of that game: when you get there, after 8 hours (of real time, no skipping) your "points" (score/counter) goes up to 01.  lol.  :D

Yep.  Just like real life for bus drivers:  after all of that work, and with lives on the line, no less, you get paid about 33K/yr according to salary.com.  Sure, not the worst salary in the world, but it does seem to be a disproportionate amount of responsibility for the pay.

Since this is the comic strip section, I'll add my favorite Dilbert comic of all time.

Although technically, since Wally isn't retiring, this probably gets filed under Anti-Mustachian.

A fairly realistic depiction except rats rarely look that desperate whereas humans often do.
