Hi,
Have any of you used the Marino Center in Cambridge, MA for your primary care physicians? What were your experiences?

Have not, but as a Cambridge, MA resident I felt compelled to weigh in :). My husband and I use Harvard Vanguard and have been extremely satisfied with the care. Everything is integrated across specialties and their charting is electronic, so you don't have to recite your medical history every time you go in. They're also great about making same day appointments and we've liked all of the doctors we've seen. Plus, they have on-site pharmacy, phlebotomy, and other great stuff that I can't think of. And, did I mention the multiple locations? They have multiple locations, which is super handy.

Thanks, but I am seeking an alternative/ functional medicine practice. Traditional medicine has not worked for me. So any Marino experiences to report?

Like the other responders, I can't speak to the Marino Center, but did you know there are health care reviews are on yelp?!

I discovered this back in December, and based on my 6+ month experience with a specialist at BWH, the reviews were spot on - I have found the same small gripes as people on yelp mentioned, but overall I'm happy with this choice over the alternatives.

Best wishes for your health!

My previous boss (Tufts professor) recommended to me the Marino Center, ultimately, I went elsewhere, as the locale wasnt good for me but he told me it was an excellent practice and if I recall, a bit "hollistic" and kind of crunchy.

I now work for the brigham and use brigham doctors and very much recommend the advanced primary care of south huntington practice. Obviously may not be a good location if you are looking in north cambridge.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
