Interesting use of the 4% rule from Sweden

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6783241/Swedish-artists-hire-one-person-want-life.html

[Daily Mail link may freak out some UK users, but I don't care]

As I read it, two artists win c. $750k in a competition to fund art; they use it to employ someone at a railway station, in perpetuity; the job is to turn on the lights in the morning and off in the evening. There is no other commitment.

The salary is listed at c. $2320 pcm, which is a withdrawal rate of 3.7%.

Thoughts?

That's funny!

If the idea of art is to provoke thought, it's probably an excellent use.

Remind me to visit that train station when it's open.

Sounds like The Red Headed League.  Any banks nearby?

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
