Just moved my family into RV. Anyone have tips?
« on: November 16, 2015, 09:13:32 AM »
Hello mmm,
This is my first post. So today I just moved my girlfriend into a class a rv for full-time living. I'm a little scared but optimistic. Right now we are boondocking so we can cut back on costs. Has anyone tried this and if so how did it go? Some things I've done to help me save money is I invested in solar panels for free electricity which I am a big fan of. I would also like to get a compost toilet so I don't have to dump as much. Anyways the reason I'm doing this besides saving money is in going back to school and I can't afford regular rent on top of everything else. I'm using my gi bill so luckily I get monthly living expense. Sorry if I'm all over the place with this post but if there's something I'm not thinking about that might give me problems n the future please enlighten me. I'm very open minded.

Sounds like a good plan to save up money.  I'd recommend you check out some of the many RV forums for specific tips there, as well as ERE and perhaps even Tynan.
