JetBlue points

Trying to use up my JetBlue TrueBlue points, I see 1 ok deal for a flight that I like (San Francisco to Boston....man hotels are pricey there), but has anyone used there TrueBlue points any other way, or have you transfer the points? I found out you can't use points to book a hotel on there travel portal (but you can pay cash), and they said you can't transfer them.

I fly JetBlue and use the points. It's ok, but I'm thinking of doing Delta.

Anyone have a reco? My preference for Delta is that they have a decent lounge.

How many points do you have?  I sold mine to a broker a few years back after grabbing a 100,000 mile sign up bonus.

Currently 27k. I use them as I can.

Selling pts you get for a bonus (credit card?) sounds like easy money.

Keep the points for future flights. Jet Blue is one of the few airlines that allow you to pay for flights with points + cash.

For Boston (I live in VT), some good "value" hotels are

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Boston Cambridge
Hampton Inn Boston/Cambridge
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Boston - Cambridge
Hampton Inn by Hilton Boston Seaport District

All three are kind of on the edge of the core of Boston but easy walk to the MBTA plus all three have free breakfast. DO NOT stay in hotels near Melnea Cass BLVD it is methadone mile and not near any public transport.
