My feet get very, very cold in the winter, and we keep the house very cold. I can get the rest of myself comfortable pretty easily, but my feet are already uncomfortably cold and we aren't anywhere near the coldest part of the year.
I have a pair of Ugg brand slippers that were gifted to me, and I thought they would be great, but they don't work. My toes are still cold.

I really need a bootie style slipper, and I'd prefer something with a fairly substantial sole so I can run outside to take out the trash or grab something from my car.
My mom is pushing for a Christmas list, so this seems like something I might pass on to her as an idea.
If they are good quality and will likely last a while, I don't mind spending some money (or asking my mom to spend some money, which she generally does happily at Christmas). Fun colors are a huge bonus, but I can live without that if necessary.
