Is this PNC credit card too good to be true?
« on: November 03, 2022, 09:41:34 AM »
I must be missing something.  If not, I'm applying for this card today.  What I am seeing:

Flat 4% i.e. 4 points for ever dollar spent, period.  A 25-75% bonus on all points if you have an account with them.  So the 4% is at minimum 5%.

No yearly fee.

50,000 point bonus with $750 spend.......???

Edit: sorry, looks like 5 points for .01, so its less than 1% cash back.

Also just saw an ad for PNC high yield savings at 3.2% but not available in my market.  I would have moved my emergency fund that I have at Citi @2.65.

If you want people to evaluate the card, you should provide a link.

IIRC from research, this card is garbage.

5 points = $0.01.  No thanks.

(Just saw your edit that you found the same thing.)
