So, I just made my final mortgage payment today and an effectively completely debt free. It feels good. The property was seller financed, and I made an excel sheet that tracked my payments, interest paid, and how much would be saved by making extra payments instead of the minimum. The attached chart shows that progression. See if you can spot where I decided to get serious about this whole FI thing.

Well done!  So what's next?  When will you be able to FIRE?

For the level of certainty I want in SWR, looking at about 8 years to FI. I really enjoy what I do for work, so I'll take the RE part as it comes.

Mostly, I just really liked the visual of the departure from the "minimum payment case" line in the graph.
