Front Page Header Image
« on: January 10, 2013, 03:17:12 AM »
Uhhh?  What!

I am truly looking forward to an explanation/story behind changing the header photo.  Personally I liked the original much better but this one has an element of funassity to it.

I'm usually one to embrace change, but I'm not sure I like it.

Well, if he's planning to move, maybe he should choose a less sinkable ship :-)

I think, though, that it may be a takeoff on the Republican thing about trillion-dollar platinum coins sinking the Titanic...

Man, I don't read the news enough lately.  Have a source for this quote?

Having a blog popular enough to generate a couple thousand dollars every month and making blatantly unprofessional logos, hell yeah.

Oh the kind of things you can get away with when successful.

To be fair, it seems like a farce logo.  Meaning, a shitty photoshop job makes it even better.

I use google reader so I don't need to continually check the main page for updates.  When it's updated, it comes to me!

Pretty good, way to go Jr Stache!

My first thought was the lack of any "badass" wording. Since the first MMM article I came across was the one where he gave up $4000k per month so he wouldn't have to stop using potty language, I wondered if MMM had finally sold out! Somehow I doubt it though...

+1 for the turntables. That was the best header yet...

Good for Mr Jr Stache though. Now he just needs to incorporate some turn tables.

I think it's great. I interpreted it as my dollars swimming to safety after jumping the sinking S.S. Consumerism. :P

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
