Firecalc or Firesim medians?
« on: May 14, 2020, 10:41:06 PM »
Just wondering if you can get the medians instead of just averages for the firecalc calculators? I know you can look at the chart and make an estimate but is there a way to just show the medians without having to download/ go through all the results?

I'm mostly familiar with Firecalc.
I'm not clear on what your asking for.
Median ending amount? Average what?
I have run Firecalc dozens of times, there is no download required.
"go through all the results" There is one graph, if you see too
many lines below $0, go back to the drawing board.
I suggest you go back and run through Firecalc several times
to get more familiar with what it's doing. I know it took me a while to
get the gist of it, but now it is easy.

Sorry yeah I'm after the median ending amount, I know you can look at the lines and make an estimate. Firesim allows you to download the results etc but also no median

You can download the data in a *.csv file.  From there it's pretty easy to calculate the median (or range or mean) values in any spreadsheet program (e.g. in Excel use the formula "=MEDIAN(...)" and select the ending values.
