Has anyone used the Honey Browsing app for internet shopping?
« on: September 09, 2017, 12:11:42 PM »
I'm wondering if I should get this app, and would like to hear reviews or opinions of anyone else who has used it.

It automatically scans  the internet for every working coupon code, while you shop online for something. I prefer buying online rather than in-store, so I'm thinking of using it.

I have the plug in. It's okay. Sometimes it finds a good coupon code but most of the time it doesn't. It certainly doesn't hurt though so give it a try.

I use the Chrome extension. I like it enough to keep it installed.
I am a former teacher who accumulated a bunch of real estate, retired at 29, spent some time traveling the world full time and am now settled with three kids.
If you want to know more about me, this Business Insider profile tells the story pretty well.
I (rarely) blog at AdventuringAlong.com. Check out the Now page to see what I'm up to currently.

Has anyone researched privacy issues with the Chrome plug-in?

When I first looked into it several months ago, I could find any specifics. The available copy of the user agreement / license was very sparse on information collected and how that information may be used.
