I'm in an apartment, so I probably leach to/from my neighbors. As long as it isn't too humid (which during Alabama's summer isn't too often), I turn off the AC during the day, and then set it on 76-78 (it's a really old thermostat, I can't really tell what it's set to) at night. If I'm out at work, when I get home, it probably isn't over 80, and that feels really cool coming in from the heat and humidity. I'll turn the fan on for an hour to cool off, then turn the AC on. Last month, electricity was $30.
