I listen to this podcast pretty regularly mostly for the entertainment value. I haven't listened yet but wanted to share. Enjoy!

FYI this is a great podcast to recommend to friends / family / coworkers to start them on the personal finance route. A lot of the times, MMM and FIRE can be a little extreme for most people. They cover a lot of topics and make fun of Ramsey / Suzie Orman.

It is pretty cool watching Matt go from dumb consumer baby to minimalist frugal dude. (And hilarious that Andrew went from super smart finance dude to 12k in credit card debt this year.) I don't like how they update every single day though, I can't get through them at the pace they pump them out.

Thanks for this. I will check this out. Any suggestions on other similar podcasts? I have 90 minutes of commuting a day. Podcasts help.

I'll check out Money Matters.

I recommend Jill on Money, a call-in/email show. And I recently began to listen to the Dough Roller podcast, which I learned about on Bogleheads. The title made me think it was religious, but so far, it's not. (Listen to #7, an interview with MMM. Very interesting.)

For excellent non-personal finance podcasts, I love WTF with Marc Maron, as well as the usual NPR/PRI round-up: This American Life, The Moth, Planet Money, Fresh Air, etc.

Thanks for posting this.  I really enjoyed it.  It's funnier than most of them and you can tell everyone was having a lot of fun with the interview.

Arrgh!  He dissed knitting scarves.  Ravelry is one of the top sites on the Net, and it is all about playing with string.  Masses of challenges.  And engineers should appreciate knitting, it is all about creating a three dimensional product with a two dimensional material.
