  • I did decide to Fire in 2018 @Age47! :)
I thought it was called Magnetic shocks but google says that's something different.

So does a system exist where sensors see a pot hole and lifts the tire as it goes over the pot hole so you don't feel it?
ie: Only 3 wheels make ground contact for a split second

Any good pneumatic system with a friend riding shotgun and looking for potholes should be able to do this too.

You are looking for an active suspension system.  Such a system will actually jam the tire into the pothole, so you don't feel it. Of course, that won't work on a larger pothole.

And yes, it will pull up on a speed bump, too.

So if you have a whole series of potholes one after the other, will the car fly?

Now that I’ve watched the Bose video, the answer is of course apparent.

You just need one of these: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bPTSSHRnnWw

Not sure how you stay in your lane with precision (or stop for traffic lights) though.

Theoretically Tesla's with active suspension are sharing pothole information, so that after one is detected the rest know to adjust before they get there.
