Mystery Shopping?
« on: January 17, 2016, 09:56:29 PM »
Does anyone here mystery shop?  I recently got into it and its been a pretty good way of getting free meals.  So far I have done a fast casual burger joint and a bakery/coffee shop and got food/coffee I would generally be too frugal to pay for.  I'm not making next to nothing on mt shops but I'm only picking food joints I want to eat at and only if its pretty simple.  I'm digging it so far and am thinking about making a thread similar to my "How to Make your Dollar Stretch" thread to help others get started with companies I use.

The biggest down side are the reports but I did one today for a bakery and coffee shop that took me 10 minutes and net me a $4 coffee, $14 worth of baked goods, and $2.00 cash as payment, lol.  The burger joint one was more involved but net me two burgers, fries, and a drink.  The report for that one took me like 30-45 min to complete.  The next biggest downside is the fact that there are so many mystery shop companies so you have to register for like 10 of them to get any shops you actually want.

Sure, I started mystery shopping around February last year, and have made about 600 dollars as well as getting many different things reimbursed. Things such as oil changes, usually paid $20-25 and then reimbursed around $50. I haven't received too many chances to get my meals paid for, which company do you get those offers from?

If you can remember the instructions, and then remember what transpired during the interaction until you can fill out the survey, you might think about earning a few bucks here and there if you have the time.

RGB, NSS, SCM, and MarketForce have fast casual/fast food restaurants.
