A Shocking Way to Control Spending

I saw this in the Daily Mail, but looked it up myself.  It is an interesting concept.  This bracelet (like a FitBit) can be linked to your bank account so when it dips below a certain amount, you will get a slight zap on your wrist.

This is a LOL idea. It sounds like it would work best if the wearer used their debit card for all purchases - then the negative feedback would be immediate, which would be better for forming that "association" they mention. If they used credit cards or cash, they could just be getting unexplained zaps a few weeks after their credit card payment posted...
