Thought I'd share my spreadsheet for those who are more visual. When I found out about the 4% SWR (25x expenses), I was really excited to play around with different numbers to see how much money I would need to cover my expenses, depending on the rate of return on investment. I created a table with the numbers plugged in to visualize everything.
On the X axis is the rate of return, the Y axis is the monthly expense. The number in the middle is your stash or target for FIRE.
