"...just how fast $350,000 a year can run out."

I have a real love/hate thing with these types of articles. They make me feel like I'm doing great, and also feel like the top 5% of earners are really pathetic if this is how people who make this much money are whining about not having enough cash. This post probably belongs on the Wall of Shame

Via Market Watch, stolen from Financial Samurai. The entire title is "Ocasio-Cortez’s future budget shows just how fast $350,000 a year can run out."

General Discussion safe- it's all the basic anti-Mustachian stuff:
What a fantastical unrealistic train wreck. I know DC is an expensive area. That being said, it assumes you send you kids to uber high priced private school, and save for private college,  family of four = $1500/mo food budget and no mention of the congressional pension, assuming that a representative would stick around to be vested for five years of service. Budgets a FloBee for kid's haircuts, apparently. props for saying clothes are from thrift stores, but I'm not sure an entire wardrobe for a congresswoman can come from Goodwill all the time. $200/mo for personal care products. etc. etc. etc.

I'll have the rest on OFF TOPIC.

This is just Sam's favorite soap box with another click bait title.  It also has a vein of mansplaining to the working class gal about how she doesn't doesn't understand where all her new money is going to go.
