We've never used tile stickers but we have just painted bathroom tiles and they've turned out really well.

I think you're asking about what we call "stick-on tiles" in the US. As an experienced home renovator, I have thoughts on them. If you're using them to spruce up a rental because they're removable, yes. If you're doing them as a short-term solution until you figure out what you really want, yes. If you're doing it to improve your home value for resale, hard no.

In our own home, we wouldn't use self-adhesive stickers, or paint them. Re-tile yourself (if it's needed), so save by doing the work yourself.

And spend the time and do a good job, to make the most of what you do spend.

The kitchen is about 9*9 feet, with the kitchen units on

How to take out the old tiles on wall or on ground?

How much time would it take to re-tile?

Bolster and club hammer, e.g. https://www.toolstation.com/club-hammer-bolster/p14764
or SDS drill and chisel, e.g. https://www.toolstation.com/makita-3-function-800w-sds-rotary-hammer-drill/p20464 and https://www.toolstation.com/heller-sds-plus-tile-lifter/p23991.

Removing tiles is usually quite easy, unless they've been fixed with cement mortar. But you might need to repair the substrate before you re-tile.

So you first have to remove the old tiles, with a hammer and chisel, as suggested. But, that is a point of no return!

Then you need to assess the wall surface under the tiles, and what action is needed, it might need re-plastering.

Then, you need to re-tile. Tiling isn't too difficult if the wall is flat, but you need to be a hands-on type of person.

Google all this, it's all on there.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
