Frugal things to do in Chichester, UK
« on: October 23, 2022, 12:33:49 PM »
Partner & I are planning a trip to the UK next July from the US for 1.5 weeks.

I imagine ticket prices will be pretty expensive since we'll be going in the summer, so hoping to request this group's thoughts on frugal activities once we're in the Chichester area. He is very into cars & motorcycles, so a stop at the Goodwood Festival of Speed is also planned.

Any recommendations for:

(1) hole-in-the-wall ethnic places to eat?
(2) good thrift stores and/or book stores?
(3) free/low cost things to do in the area?
(4) hostels to stay at?

We'll likely do a date night or two in London, so frugal places to eat/things to do/etc in London would also be appreciated!

If you're into history just go for a walk around the Cathedral and the old part of the town.

Tripadvisor is your best bet though:
