Eat Well For Less
« on: May 30, 2019, 02:05:21 PM »
Just wanted to give a recommendation for this book.  I got it for a bargain 99p on Kindle and have been learning to cook again, after my long suffering wife who is an amazing cook got a bit fed up.

The TV show is also very easy watching.

So far from the one book I've made 3 recipes and 2 more on my to do list, which is good for one cook book for me.

- Chicken satay noodles
- Asian chicken with rice
- Meat free chilli
- Chicken and chickpea curry
- Home made chicken nuggets

Just odered her new cook book which is recipes you can make from tinned foods.  Will report back when I've tried a few.

Although I find her a bit irritating, Jack Monroe is an amazing person.

I haven't found her irritating, is that on social media or something?

Let us know how the book is! If you like using tinned foods try the peach curry recipe using tinned peaches (inc. the syrup!)...

Zola.

Its probably me being irritable than her being irritating. I blame lack of sleep due to my two kids!

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
