May Update:
Bucket

401k          $  8,509 / $ 23,500
401k Match    $  8,509 / $ 20,100
HSA           $  1,729 / $  4,300
Mrtg. Prin.   $  2,262 / $  5,500
Taxable       $ 30,965 / $ 66,600
---------------------------------
Total         $ 51,974 / $120,000

Savings rate: 71.3%

This and next month are heavy on annual/quarterly expenses. I'm still tracking slightly ahead on the year so hopefully won't fall behind even with these, but it'll be tight

I'm currently "funemployed", but would like to go back to work at least part time. I'll guess conservatively on our goals as a result.

-Max 401Ks - $54,500 (one spouse eligible for catch up contributions) (assumes I get a job)
-Pay for college for two kids out of 529s
-Save another $20k if I don't get another job, and $100k if I do.

Okay, just got another job, and we received DH's severance this week, so things are good.
-DH maxed his 401k already, and I'm getting a large sign on bonus that will easily allow me to max mine
-We've saved enough for both kids in college, and are now planning to help my nephew out a bit (we are thinking $5k/year)
-We should be able to save another $100k by EOY with the new job.

I still need to go through & figure out:
-New overall budget, with my job
-Investment options
-How much we have to work with each month, after deductions, etc.
