Activities that make me happy and are good for my long-term happiness and health:
1) Wandering the library, looking at books
2) Walking for hours on long flat beaches
3) Naps (preferably after the beach hike)
4) Being silly, laughing
5) Dancing salsa and west coast swing
6) Having interesting conversations
7) Advising/tutoring
8) Learning new things
9) Reading poetry and non-fiction
10) Playing with dogs

I noticed more the theme of pet snuggling and naps.

So I think maybe only 1 person mentioned volunteering... not judging, just noting :)

1. Taking a nap without constraints
2. Participating in recreational team sports
3. Creating something that makes me laugh
4. Reading or viewing something that makes me laugh
5. A nice long shower during which I waste a shit ton of water

Can't think of 10 right now...

I noticed you didn't list volunteering either... No judgement, just interesting that you commented on that .

Yeah, it wouldn't make my top 10, and maybe not even my top 100. I just thought it was odd because this site is filled with genuinely nice people.  If people here aren't listing volunteering in their top 10 list, who is? :)

People too busy to hang out on forums, apparently. I didn't add my list, but volunteering was on my mental list I made while walking the dogs last night. I guess I would be too busy with that except I'm not doing much of it at the moment.  ;)

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
