Credit Card(s) going bye bye by Dec 31st 2014
« on: September 19, 2014, 12:36:09 PM »
My last debt (besides mortgage) is a big fat credit card that's been dragging me down for a few months or so now.  Ive made a commitment to get rid of this by any means necessary before the end of this year.  I know this is a short amount of time but I think I can do it.

I've picked up a side project that should net me another $1500 and I'm now able to send them roughly $1500 a month on it.  And I just today sent them $1k to toss against it and next thursday another $700.  I need to annihilate this CC so i can really start growing my 'stache.

You go!  You go hard core!   Just do it with abandon.  Sell some shit,  mow the neighbors yard,  eat nothing but chicken and rice and drink only water.   Walk or bike to work.

Get off this freaking computer and go earn some more money!

You go!

Way to go!  You can do it.  The feeling when that last bill is paid off is sooo wonderful!

CHICKEN and rice?  CHICKEN?  Rice and beans, buddy.

Seriously though, go for it.  The more momentum you build, the easier it'll be.  If you need external motivation, come back and post your success as payments go in.  Everyone needs a back-pat (or a facepunch) from time to time.

Well so far its gone from $9900 and ive been sending money weekly, so I sent another $600 today the balance is currently sitting at $7900.

Hoping to get paid for side project next month as well, that should net $1500-$1700 I will toss it all on that CC.  Ive been sending money every single week.
