Hi Solon,

Not sure! I didn't go through the editing history since it doesn't matter who did what. But inserting a new row without copying the contents of another row would break things because there would be no formulas to index your entries. The spreadsheet is set up to handle up to 100 people, so a new person can just add their name and data at the bottom. If you want your name to appear alphabetically, just sort the name/data section by the name column (but leave the column headers section out of it).

Looks like there are five of us hovering right below $200k!

It's funny that getting to the first $100k felt like a huge milestone to me, but the next (almost) $100k almost snuck up on me without any realization.

I can totally imagine that - I feel like it was an enormous effort (emotional, logistical, spousal, etc.) to turn my life around and get from pre-MMM net-worth stagnation to post-MMM $8-9,000/month increases, but now that we're consistently doing it it's mostly autopilot. I can easily imagine sometime next summer hitting $200k without really thinking about it too much.

Pretty awesome!

So inspired by everyone on here!

6/1/2017 - $115,738
6/30/2017 $117,232 ~ +1.29%
7/31/2017 $119,087 ~ +1.58%
8/31/2017 $123,218 ~ +3.47%
9/30/2017 $123,886 ~ +0.54%

10/31/2017 $125,468.75 +1.28%
Numbers based on Mint and does not include:
  A small crypto currency investment

I expect this to drop by a few grand(?) next time I check it.  I am finally getting some Tax liens/Real estate investments going and those won't easily tracked by mint.  I'll figure out a way to track them, but it's going to look like I spent a fortune until then!  (Ok, a few grand probably isn't a fortune, but Eye of the Beholder so.....)

Jan 1, 2017 - $128,893
Mar 1, 2017 - $151,772
May 1, 2017 - $156,756
Aug 1, 2017 - $170,072
Sep 1, 2017 - $174,170

It's totally true. I jumped on Mint this weekend to categorize a budget item I know it struggles with and saw that the updated investment accounts pushed us over $200,000. I commented to DH, "Aw, look! We're over $200,000 in investments." DH: "That's nice. Want me to start supper?" Clearly it was a very important milestone to him. lol

Column 1: investments (retirement + otherwise):
Column 2: total net worth (including investments, savings account and the paid off part of the house)
 7/17/17    $182,905   $301,487
 8/17/17    $184,943   $301,381
 9/17/17    $191,576   $308,692
10/17/17   $197,557   $314,090
11/17/17   $201,230   $315,249
a smaller jump this time, almost all due to market, but I'll sure take it. Medical costs from a few months ago coming in...
next few months might be small to no gains, possibly some losses as I will have to take some unpaid time off.
but yay for over 200K invested.

Not including our real estate holdings.  Rental, primary home and land.

Investments and Cash holding:
April 2014 6K
April 2015 92K (uploading info on Mint, saving more)
April 2016 117K
April 2017 191K (put more assets on mint, saving even more)
Today: 233K

+workplace saving account $43K Grand total: 276K

The numbers blow my mind. Aall we did was stop spending money like crazy and starting pre-tax savings.  We should have started earlier.

Unfortunately all just market gains. I'm in both paying off some business debt and Christmas mode right now, so won't be able to get back to my savings rate until January.

I'll join in:

8/27/14: $78.2K
1/26/15: $95.8K
6/22/15: $112.6K

Long overdue update...made it to the other side!!

End Dec. '15: $130K
June '16: $159K
Dec. '16: $181K
Sept '17: $250K
Oct '17: $258K

Old me couldn't imagine making it from $78K to $250K in only 3 years.  All I can say is tracking my accounts at the end of every single month has had an amazing impact.  It keeps me motivated to continue to grow and looking back on the progress is always fun.

I will we getting married in June so growth will escalate but I'm really happy to have made it this far all on my own

Nov 2017 - $150,186

WOO! This will be my first year maxing my Roth and 401k and it definitely shows. I just joined this thread last year around this same time and here I am with another $50k. I like it!

I'd like to max both of those next year too, but we'll see how that shakes out with my husband's self employment adventure. We're not quite three months into that, but so far it's going well. Stock sales got a bump with the holidays and cooler weather and his queue of custom work has been growing slowly, but steadily longer. Cash reserves are holding steady so far and my income has been keeping ahead of misc larger expenses like car repairs and vet bills even with my maxed out 401k contributions. So far, so good!

Retirement only, does not include real estate or emergency savings:

January 2015: $98,619

January 2016: $101,235
December 2016: $140,779 (total NW $269,089)

January 2017: $151,307 (total NW $276,052)
February 2017: $156,620 (total NW $285,663)
March 2017: $161,585 (total NW $302,055)
April 2017: $166,111 (total NW $306,801)
May 2017: $169,686 (total NW $327,523)
June 2017: $171,784 (total NW $335,026)
July 2017: $175,590 (total NW $342,138)
August 2017: $176,250 (total NW $347,833) Glad to see a small increase despite an unexpected $3,000 emergency special assessment this month for my rental condo.
September 2017: $180,271 (total NW $349,265)
October 2017: $185,318 (total NW $350,236) some adjustment in the condo estimate affected total NW this month
November 2017: $187,646 (total NW $357,520)

I know the total NW is over $250k but I'm focused on retirement only for this challenge. A good chunk of the NW is real estate equity.

First time posting in this thread! I'm just going to be including my invested income & cash, and ignoring my retirement fund (superannuation) & student debt (hecs) because I pretty much ignore them in all my calculations.

Jun 2015:  $50k
Oct 2016:  $100k
Nov 2017:  $150k

I remember being super excited about my first $50k. When I hit $100k it was pretty exciting, but $150k just kinda passed me by a few weeks ago without even really thinking about it.

4/28/17 $82,123.14 start of competition
5/31/17 $83,416.85 an increase of $1,293.71
6/30/17 $88,646.63 an increase of $5,229.78
7/31/17 $97,939.57 an increase of $9,292.94
8/31/17 $98,975.02 an increase of $1,034.45
9/29/17 $101,431.60 an increase of $2,456.58
10/31/17 $106,262.40 an increase of $4,830.80
11/30/17 $103,638.95 a decrease of -$2,623.45

An expected decrease because I bought an engagement ring.  A bitter sweet moment lol I know I'll get a substantial bump-up in net worth sometime next year when I do get married so I consider it a very worthy investment.

First off congrats to everybody who's trucking along and to those who are graduating.

I can't believe how much growth I've gotten although I know it's mostly due to such a high market right now. Still going from 100K to 125K in 6 months is amazing to me. Especially considering how long it took to get the first 100K. I'm definitely liking how it's finally past the tipping point and will just stream roll on from here.

As always I don't include the house as it's not an asset until we sell it. This is just retirement investments and savings

08/31/16   $70,534.23
09/30/16   $73,742.76

Congratulations to the graduates! I'm on a path of slow and steady progress. Student loans are down, investments are up.

03/2017 - $130,500
04/2017 - $133,780 (+3280 - Saved $2500, Market Gains $780, Savings Ratio 48.2%)
05/2017 - $138,157 (+4377 - Saved $2835, Market Gains $1542, Savings Ratio 54.4%)
06/2017 - $144,144 (+5987 - Saved $3265, Market Gains $2731, Savings Ratio 61.9%)
07/2017 - $147,452 (+3308 - Saved $2039, Market Gains $1269, Savings Ratio 39.1%)
08/2017 - $152,993 (+5541 - Saved $2961, Market Gains $2580, Savings Ratio 54.3%)
09/2017 - $155,863 (+2870 - Saved $2838, Market Gains $32, Savings Ratio 52%)
10/2017 - $162,673 (+6810 - Saved $2999, Market Gains $3811, Savings Ratio 54.9%)
11/2017 - $168,673 (+6000 - Saved $2775, Market Gains $3225, Savings Ratio 50.8%)
12/2017 - $175,755 (+7082 - Saved $2730, Market Gains $4352, Savings Ratio 50%)

Took a big hit from a car repair. If my car needs another hefty repair in the next 2 years, I'll probably junk it and buy a used car that I plan to last for ~3 years until I can get a used self driving car. I'm not beating myself up for the low savings rate - without that car bill, I was at 71%. Market Gains from Cryptocurrencies were huge this month. The last two days dropped 20% and I'm still up 40% this month.

6/1/2017 - $115,738
6/30/2017 $117,232 ~ +1.29%
7/31/2017 $119,087 ~ +1.58%
8/31/2017 $123,218 ~ +3.47%
9/30/2017 $123,886 ~ +0.54%
10/31/2017 $125,468.75 +1.28%

11/31/2017 $124,036.64 ~-1.14%

Numbers based on Mint and does not include:
 A small crypto currency investment < $1000
approximately $4200 in Real estate tax Liens

While I could include the approximate $ amount of liens I have, I won't as I need to develop the query to do so. Won't take terribly long but I have other things of greater important I need to do at the moment.  Maybe someday.
That being said, market gains for the win, as I only seemed to drop 1.4k despite my new un-tracked investment.

I've done gradumacated.  See y'all in the next thread.
NW is still in limbo due to mortgage company dragging their feet disbursing checks and reimbursing the $15K we gave to our contractor.  We only saved $6450 this month which means our money made $6900 or $450 more than we saved.  Definitely feeling the treadmill dragging us forward right now.
