Sept 1 - 101.6k
Oct 1 - 106.2k (+4600)
Nov 1 - 108.8k (+2600)
Dec 1 - 111.7 (+2900)
Jan 1 - 113.0 (+1300)

2019 was a good year, graduated from the 10-100 thread, hoping to graduate from this one by late 2023.  Going to shoot for 150 by the end of 2020, which is doable if market trends continue, but damn hard if they don’t, we’ll see where things go.

I am tracking only IRA/401K/taxable accounts.
5/31/2018 $100,519.07  - not even the slightest clue on target date...I'll be here for a few years :)
6/30/2018 $105,187.34
7/31/2018 $109,052.07
8/31/2018 $116,748.06
9/31/2018 $125.833.33 (should slow down for rest of year as both 401Ks are maxed)
10/31/2018 $121,400.49 (market pain)
11/30/2018 $120,116/63
12/31/2018 $115,318.38 (more market pain and put some resources towards our new AirBnB venture - looking forward to buying stocks on sale now that 401K is back in play)
1/31/2019 $121,188.34 (next couple of months are my favorite time of year - 401K is in play, bonus and employer 401K match (3% of compensation) all hit)
2/28/2019 $136,880.76 (one twomore fun months, then back to slow(er) growth mode)
3/31/2019 $141,195.30 (one more fun month - employer 401k contribution and last month until max 401k for the year)
4/30/2019 $161,209.95 (going to try to continue speed with taxable account - we will see with a 2-week old at home how this plays out)
5/31/2019 $157,215.34 (market pain decline despite adding close to $4,000 in my after-tax account.....stay the course)
6/30/2019 $168,401.72 ($63,214.38 in one year...stay the course)
7/31/2019 $172,680.44
8/31/2019 $169,675.29
9/30/2019 $169,620.62 (recalculated due to typo in tracker)
10/31/2019 $178,498.23
11/30/2019 $192,486.52 (stretch goal - make this a 2 year race.  It will be a real stretch, but that's what we are here for, right?)
12/31/2019 $209,508.94

Update #3 (tracking 401k only)    It looks like I will stay in the group for 2020.  I am fine with staying around for a bit, but will join the $250-500k group once I am $20-40k above the $250k mark.  No need to flip back and forth when market fluctuations come along.
                                 401k
Nov. 12, 2019         $238,035.96
Dec.   3, 2019         $240,880.64
Jan.   1, 2020          $249,417.11

End of year numbers:

18K cash (15K emergency fund)
142K in investments (20K in my IRA, 110 in my 403b, 10K in taxable, 1K in HSA)

Started the taxable and HSA this year (the HSA also has 2K they won't let me invest). Total net worth is 160K.

2019 is going to be about tracking expenses, I haven't done that very closely in a few years. If I can break 195K net worth by the end of the year, that will make me very happy.

2019 was an unstable year and I'm still recovering in some ways.

16K cash (11K emergency fund, 2K in a CD as the beginning of a CD ladder)
218K in investments (taxable account, tIRA, Roth IRA, rollover IRA, current 403b, HSA)

Total net worth is 234K. I'm pretty thrilled about that, given that I had some major unanticipated expenses and a lot of emotional upheaval this year. 2020 is going to be about continuing to track expenses and stick to my grocery budget. I can break 250K NW easy, and I'd love to get to 300K by the end of the year.

Since I had never rolled over a 403b before, I'm kind of baffled by the "rollover IRA" -- is there a way to combine that with my existing tIRA, just so I have fewer accounts?

I’m jumping in this thread with a few ideas and thoughts in mind. I don’t plan to add house equity or extras like that. I’m not even going to add the spouse’s 401k. I’ll be solely tracking
My 401k and my Roth IRA Numbers to go toward the goal of $250k. I may add the savings account numbers later, but most of that pays toward the last of my mortgage and a basement remodel right now.

My stats:

Jul2019 — $101953
Aug2019 — $106277
Sep2019 — $111050
Oct2019 — $114791
Nov2019 — $120215
Dec2019 — $122692

Numbers updated thru the last day of the month

Have mostly been a lurker on this thread, but I wanted to post that I graduated! Thanks to an employer contribution that posts at the end of the year I am now at a net worth of $265,000

My official graduation date was probably sometime in November, which is amazing considering I got married and went on a honeymoon that month, neither of which were particularly mustashian. I really thank everyone in this group for keeping my fundamentals strong during a spendy year. See you in the next thread!

Just graduated from the race to 100k thread, love starting the new year off by hitting that mark. It might be a stretch, but my goal is to graduate from this thread in 2 years. I count all investments, homes, vehicles, and cash in my numbers.

I just crossed $100k so I'm gettin' in!

I think the motivation to reach $250k will already be there for me, but hey this will keep me accountable.
It's been one year since my last post in this thread (seems most of you post more often, maybe I should do that...)
anyway, I'm now at $157,512 per PersonalCapital. woo!

I'm back and I've got $250k net worth!

About $230k invested (no mortgage, house etc.,)
I have a cheap car worth about 3k and a pension worth probably $20k in today's dollars but I'm not including that.

Also, probably the most interesting piece of my financial picture is that this past year my net worth grew by more than my gross salary (savings + market gains)  Pretty crazy.
