$40,061 - 1 Dec 2015
$43,153 - 1 Jan 2016

$47,634 - 1 Feb 2016

I'm impressed with how I've  gone up even though my investments have gone down significantly.

I had honestly forgotten about this thread until it popped up in my Google Drive sidebar as being updated recently! I updated net worth figures for the last 12 months. Last time I updated, I was at $31k and am now up to $71k. Should be on track to reach $100k by the end of 2016 (assuming the stock market doesn't tank even more...).

I broke my Goal of 70k networth to start 2016.
$70,395.59 to be exact, an increase of 6.5%.

February 1 2016 - $74,587.69
I include my DB pension in my NW, and keeping a very strong savings rate, thus why I'm able to sustain growth despite the markets. I'm just hoping the markets stay low or fall further this year as I'm in the accumulation phase!

My roommate moved out, but think I might have a new friend lined up to take over to keep the extra money coming in each month.

9/1: $78,487.07
10/1: $81,428.69
11/1: $87,887.66
12/1: $90,220.55
1/1: $94,782.59
2/1: $92,959.06

Brutal!!! Down almost $2,000 in NW in January even though it was a three-paycheck month. The market drop in January stung, and will likely push back my $100,000 finish line - it looked in December like I could make it by March...now I think May is more likely, unless the market swings up.

Ouch. We had a $5400 tuition payment to pay, plus almost $1000 car repair, and of course we lost a fair amount in our investments. I'm pretty happy we only went down around $3k, actually.

Still hoping to hit $100k by November or so.

February was a really good month for me! Getting so close to that 50k mark and almost half way there to the 100k finish line! Haven't felt this excited to hit a milestone like that since I made my last student loan payment a while back. Judging by my back of the napkin calculations I should be able to surpass 50k net worth by the end of March as long as I keep my spending in check and of course the market is kind to me.

Up about 7,767 tooooo..... 100,095.24. Hell yeah! When I saw my stock fund (VT) drop slightly today, I knew it'd be close when I got home to tabulate. Thankfully, this is the month that my 403b drops in our lump sum match for the prior year. Took 20 months for me to graduate. I'll go join the next thread. Thanks to all for making this process a little more fun. Hope you all graduate in short order :). Cheers!!

Like everybody else January was a real killer.   But I've mostly recovered.   This second half of 2016 will see my net worth really skyrocket as the last CC will be paid off and getting rid of the car. So only debt will be mortgage.

2/1/2016           $74,587.69
3/1/2016           $77,683.18

Humming along. Couple expenses coming up which will slow me down a bit the next couple months. Looking at that 100k mark by late summer/early fall.
Most of my debts are paid off now (one small left to a parent with no interest rate) so I think in a few months my personal finances will truly just be automated and I'm going to stop looking at it so closely.

Congrats to SpareChange on graduation month!

Looks like the spreadsheet keeps getting messed up. Anyone know how to fix it? It's not pulling in the current month's net worth. Also, I input my current months net worth yesterday and it looks like someone sorted and it changed the values that were entered for each person.

Aug 2015: $73,900
Sep 2015: $78,300
Oct 2015: $86,014
Nov 2015: $88,620
Dec 2015: $88,329
Jan 2016: $90,032

Just broke into the 90Ks zone with Jan, a month late due to market headwinds and all the additional spending during the holiday season. This market turmoil may be long drawn out. Here's hoping that the push comes from savings in 2016 letting us buy more into the markets on sale.

Not much progress in Feb too. While the Canadian holdings increased by ~2500, due to forex fluctuations the oversees numbers are trending lower in CAD. But we are back to the 35-40% savings levels and are plugging away at the investments.

Aug 2015: $73,900
Sep 2015: $78,300
Oct 2015: $86,014
Nov 2015: $88,620
Dec 2015: $88,329

Feb 2016: $90,600

I have updated the current month (cell A1) and fixed the formulas in column A and B. The problem with the sorting most likely happens because the columns after January 2016 are outside the sorting range (marked by the green line/letters/numbers). I have not figured out how to extend the range, but that would not fix the misplaced values only prevent it from happen again.

I just updated, but I'm shit at tracking monthly.  I'm going to try to get it together, because I think it will keep me from feeling discouraged when our progress isn't super clear.

I'd be happy to jump in on a new chart if one is made too!

I just added a new sheet 'Net Worth 2' that starts from 2016, but I made the changes in a private copy of the spreadsheet first so I can easily recreate them if the spreadsheet is restored.

Can you redo this? I restored to the previous revision to fix the misplaced values, but the formulas were not correct in that version.

It's done. I also figured out how to update the sorting range which should make it safe to sort again.

dachs Super sorry about that. On March 1st, someone scrambled a bunch of the data, so we had to reset to the previous version. It's been pretty rare *knock on wood* but we can use Revision History to fix such issues.. but it does remove data added after the jumble. If you add it now, it'll stick!

Okay thank you :) But there is no more cell left to add my name. Is there a special way to add a new cell? I don't want to mess up the table.

Are you looking at the right row? I can see two rows for the username dachsi (assuming it is yours), but only one has entered her/his networth.

Also don't enter your networth directly in column A or column B. They are supposed to contain formulas that reads data from elsewhere (column AX has the networth for March 1, 2016). Anything you enter in those columns will get overwritten the next time the formulas needs to be updated.

Oh yes, sorry. The name moved because it's ordered by net worth, I had not noticed that. :)

Joining! My NW won't grow as fast as everyone else here and I don't expect to hit 100k very soon... but that won't discourage me! Numbers are in euro btw (which is 1.09 dollar atm).

Updated the last couple months for me:

1/31/16: 71,733
2/29/16: 74,225

Slowly but surely. I'm hoping to hit $100k by the end of 2016, about 2.5 years since starting in May of 2014. Not a bad pace!!

I see some people tracking investments rather than NW, so in that vein, I'm in for my AT investments if you'll have me.

As of 3/8: $20,818.37

So many great posts here on the journey to freedom.  The 6 figure and 7 figure threads are waiting for you.  Keep the faith, it is coming.
