Thank you @Raenia for getting January started.
I am somewhat in line w/you, as I will also have Better sleep on top of my list - it needs to be main priority. I am happy that I am writing this before I go to bed after first day of January, however I am not happy that is already 30 min past midnight, so it's actually already Jan 2nd...

So here is my January list. I start work again on the 4th, and some time after that, I will have a full bathroom renovation, which probably will be messy and take time, as I know water has been leaking for years so it will probably need to be dried out more than in a normal renovation. It really needs to get done.

  • Focus goal: Better sleep, at least 7 hrs/night, while still getting up early in the morning.
  • Get paper and other important information in order. Especially anything related to old house.
  • Get up to date and in control of finances, continously.
  • Survive bathroom renovation. Stay in hotel a couple of nights if needed.
  • Sort out the balcony.
  • Loose 1 kilo, from 69 to 68.
  • Buy soil and plant garlic.
  • Unpack and organize basement storage.
  • Do well at work.
  • Decorate/hang pictures and lamps.
  • Walk 248 000 steps.
  • Stay in touch. Walk w/N. Plan something w/A&S. Try to find one new friend/acquaintance. Relatives.
  • Sort out the kids room better.
  • Move every day.
  • Decide on coat rack and shoe rack, and buy/order. And hang them if they arrive.
  • Italian every day, and QVC.
  • Yoga every day.
  • Set up finances for the future and a renovation plan. Plan 2021 in Trello and calendar (timings, kids, exercise, eating, friends and relatives, work, events, money, travel, apartment plans).
  • Sort out the credit cards.
  • Create a calendar for removing 1-31 things/day randomly. One trip to goodwill.
  • Continue to research tattoo.
  • Continue to take photos.
  • Secret goal (emotional stuff).

Bathroom renovation delayed, unsure when it will start, hope next week. I have things I need to prepare before it starts, but procrastrinating since I don't have a deadline (clearing out the bathroom, sorting/decluttering and finding temporary place for the things I will keep and need to use during renovation).

Not much done first week of the year, second week was good progress, now starting third week and I had a fall yesterday, leading to having trouble bending down and walking fast. Not good but it's getting better, but no long walk yesterday or today.

As usual for me:
Blue = good progress
Orange = at risk
Green = completed

Well, last two nights good but not good before that.
  • Get paper and other important information in order. Especially anything related to old house.
  • Get up to date and in control of finances, continously.
  • Survive bathroom renovation. Stay in hotel a couple of nights if needed.
  • Sort out the balcony. Some work done, however difficult w/all the snow we have now.
  • Loose 1 kilo, from 69 to 68. No progress yet.
  • Buy soil and plant garlic. Finally got the soil, but now there is too much snow.
  • Unpack and organize basement storage.
  • Do well at work.
  • Decorate/hang pictures and lamps. A lot of progress!! Almost done I think.
  • Walk 248 000 steps. Will not happen due to injury.
  • Stay in touch. Walk w/N. Plan something w/A&S. Try to find one new friend/acquaintance. Relatives.
  • Sort out the kids room better. This is really difficult, I don't really have any ideas. I believe I need to sit in there and feel/think.
  • Move every day.
  • Decide on coat rack and shoe rack, and buy/order. And hang them if they arrive.
  • Italian every day, and QVC.
  • Yoga every day. Not every day but good enough.
Will not happen this month, active choice so ok. One trip to goodwill. Might not happen, but that is bc I have given away so much of it - same effect (happy dance :-) )
  • Continue to research tattoo. On hold. I do want to find out the approximate cost but nothing will happen until after Covic anyway.
  • Continue to take photos. This is photos for possible account w/dating app. However I have realised I am not creating and account now (probably not in several months) so no rush w/the photos. I do still want to get some good photos though.
  • Secret goal (emotional stuff). Feeling good about this. I think I am starting to land properly in being single after the divorce. It is hard sometimes, but in the last few weeks, I have seen a shift in happiness level (to the better).

Thanks Linnea!  I've been working on sleep since Jan last year, and it's finally settling in as a habit.  I'm hoping in a few months it will be so automatic I can take it off my tracker.

I hope you recover quickly from your fall, it can be so frustrating to be stopped from meeting goals by injury or illness.

I have had some rough weeks. Hurt my back, but that almost back to normal now, I have been able to sleep and to walk for several day, just having a problem sitting on chairs for longer periods.
But I am not sleeping as much as needed, and that leads to a mess in so many areas. I honestly don't know how to fix this, I mean it is simple - go to bed, turn off light... I don't have problems falling asleep, and if I wake up during the night, I go back to sleep easily and quickly. But I just don't go to bed, and when finally in bed, I don't turn off the light... Think I need to decrease number of goals in February and focus on this.

Bathroom renovation still delayed, still unsure when it will start, still hope this next week. And I am still not done with the design/deciding on looks. Layout is ok, just have to decide on bathtub or not.

It's been a mixed January, but overall pretty good. Now I have this Saturday and Sunday to tie up some loose ends. Will report back Sunday evening or begining next week.

As usual for me:
Blue = good progress
Orange = at risk
Red = did not happen
Green = completed

So here is my January list. I start work again on the 4th, and some time after that, I will have a full bathroom renovation, which probably will be messy and take time, as I know water has been leaking for years so it will probably need to be dried out more than in a normal renovation. • Focus goal: Better sleep, at least 7 hrs/night, while still getting up early in the morning.
  • Get paper and other important information in order. Especially anything related to old house.
  • Get up to date and in control of finances, continously. I am happy about this, it took some time but absolutely worth it. I also managed to renegotiate the interest rate on my mortgage, leading to about $50 less in interest payment /month, with no administrative/additional cost. Note that I live in Sweden, so pretty special situation, I have a variable rate, and we have high comptetion between banks in Sweden. I now have a 1.25% rate.
  • Survive bathroom renovation. Stay in hotel a couple of nights if needed. Will be moved to February.
  • Sort out the balcony. Enough work done for now, w/all the snow we have now.
  • Loose 1 kilo, from 69 to 68. Will not happen.
  • Buy soil and plant garlic. Finally got the soil, lots of snow, but it melted for a day, so I managed to get garlic and some onions planted.
  • Unpack and organize basement storage.
  • Do well at work. Putting this in green, I am not that happy but my boss, team mates and colleagues are so...
  • Decorate/hang pictures and lamps. A lot of progress!! I will hang another couple of pictures, but not sure where yet. For the final two lamps, I need an electrician, and that is really hard to find. I want to decide on a mirror for the hallway also, hopefully this weekend.
  • Walk 248 000 steps. Will not happen due to injury, but the last few days have been really good. Will end over 200 000 at least.

Do you still find these useful?  It seems we lost most of last year's crew, so there is less accountability with just the two of us.  I can go ahead and make a thread for Feb if we want to keep going, though.

1. Better Sleep - maintain bedtime routine, hit lights-out target at least 26/31 days. (Last month 27/30)

2. Read

  b. 1 Nonfiction book
    - 3/1
  c. Start reading philosophy
    - Selected

    - 3/2
3. Keep House Tidy
 - Lots of improvement this week, especially yesterday

Crafting:
4. Make new PJ Pants
  a. Cut Fabric
  b. Sew Seams
  c. Finish Seams
  d. Drawstring

Home Renovation:

Ooh please do create one for Feb! I don't think I will have time to write final update for Jan or start Feb tonight, but I will try (8 pm here and I have to get kids to bed, do dishes, prepare for tomorrow).

January has been ok, but not more. However, I did have along list and I knew I wouldn't get it all done. Februrary will be much shorter list.

Bathroom renovation still delayed, still unsure when it will start, still hope this next week. And I am still not done with the design/deciding on looks. Layout is ok, just have to decide on bathtub or not.

Red = did not happen
Green = completed

I am trying to do 8 000 on average during 2021, so behind but not to bad. Considering injury and quite a lot of snow, I am absolutley ok. I always walk more in the summer and this is possibly my best January ever.
Not really, too bad about not doing yoga and home exercise. Not only due to injury, aslo laziness.
  • Decide on coat rack and shoe rack, and buy/order. And hang them if they arrive. I am a bit angry w/myself for not completing this, the hallway is a mess.
  • Italian every day, and QVC.
  • Yoga every day. Not every day but good enough.
  • Set up finances for the future and a renovation plan. Plan 2021 in Trello and calendar (timings, kids, exercise, eating, friends and relatives, work, events, money, travel, apartment plans). Started but need to do a lot more.
