Title: Out of town for work - no eating out+exercise
Post by: clutchy on November 12, 2013, 06:30:59 PM
So... I do out of town audits etc. and it's relatively stressful but I also eat out a lot and don't exercise much so I'm carrying around 20lbs. that I shouldn't be.

This week I went shopping and all food will be prepared and no eating out.  So I'll make money on my per diem.

2nd; instead of watching TV or working in the room I'm going to go out and walk and exercise.

1 day down 4 to go.

I used to travel a lot for work and would often use the time away from home to slim down.  I was usually in a hotel with a nice workout area which was a nice bonus.

Up early, hit the gym, eat some fruit.   Work, work, work...eat a salad, go for a run, go to bed.  Do the same thing for 5 or 6 days and I would fly home with looser pants.

Work travel often sucks monkey ass.  I know it did for me.  So, it is a good time to focus on something really positive like health and fitness.

And that per diem can be a nice perk for the stash.

Good luck!
